When you listen to Debbie, you can never be the same.
Rev. Bob Rester
Reverend Robert D. Rester has been serving God for over 45 years. From life in the Air Force to serving and building churches, from Evangelism to Pastoring and pioneering new works, Bob has always had a heart for God and His people!
Since the late 80's, Bob has been ministering in the greater Aberdeen area, having started Central Park Neighborhood Church, literally building it, both structurally and spiritually, from the ground up. his impact in the Gray's harbor area spans decades and has impacted countless lives.
Pastor Bob contended for revival at any cost and hosted several long revival meetings throughout the years of 1994 - 2005. People's lives would never be the same. Many were born again, baptized in The Holy Spirit, healed, refreshed, and called to ministry.
During that time, Pastor Bob and his wife, Mary, became close friends with one of the revivalists, evangelist Debbie Rich. Tragically, in 2006, Mary lost a battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord. It was a devastating time. The grief was almost more than he could bear, especially while watching his youngest daughter losing her battle at the same time. Yet, he continued to believe the One who had called him, and knew that He would sustain him.
After Mary's home-going, Pastor Bob and Debbie continued to be friends. After a time, their friendship turned into love. God had once again brought joy and restoration into Bob's life. They were married at his church in April of 2008. What a dynamite team the revivalist pastor and evangelist now made. They continued to do both for awhile. Debbie assisted him in the church and he assisted her on the road. It became increasingly difficult to do both, and after Bob's own physical battle that attacked his vocal chords in 2010, he resigned his church. He had pastored CPNC for 22 years. Bob and Debbie continued to travel the evangelistic trail all over the world.
The end of 2012 brought yet more changes. God made it apparent that they would be pioneering a new work in Aberdeen. Now they have begun Faithlife Church NW and are pastoring again. Debbie does the majority of teaching and preaching. They are believing for the restoration of Bob's voice in total healing. His invaluable insight in administration, his wisdom, and experience will once again cause the anointing to be doubled in their new work. Pastor Bob has a special calling to teach in the area of family, marriage, and Christian growth.
Dena Hastings is the new office manager of Debbie Rich Ministries/Faithlife Church NW. She began working for the ministry in April of 2017.
Dena was born again at the age of seven. She was raised in a Christian home and is the third child of four girls. Dena was raised in North Pole, Alaska, (yes, for real). She graduated from North Pole High School in May of 1981 and then married her best friend, Ralph (Bud) Hastings, in December of 1981. They have two beautiful girls, Misty and Heather, and now a wonderful son-in-law, Jared.
Dena and her husband have worked in their own business in Alaska and have also had the privilege to work alongside Pastor Bill Ferguson at North Pole Christian Center. Dena led worship and taught the adults and children. She and her husband were called upon frequently to teach and preach. They began to sense God calling them into a new season of their lives. They obeyed and moved to Aberdeen, Washington in March of 2017. They are now tremendous assets to Debbie Rich Ministries, Faithlife Church NW, and to Pastors Bob and Debbie Rester, personally.
Dena is a very enthusiastic person with a servant’s heart to serve God and people. She is hungry to see God move mightily all over this land. Dena is part of a team that God is building at DRM to see that harvest reaped all over Washington State, the Northwest, the United States, and unto all the world.
