Big God!

I have been watching Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne’s minister’s conference at The River at Tampa Bay this week.  I wanted to be there but circumstances prohibited it.  Today is only Tuesday, so it is early in the week, but oh, my what a conference it is!   We are being challenged to rise up and be the overcoming, triumphant church.  

This is the day when “the glory of God is covering the earth as the water covers the sea”.  We are the blood-bought church.  We are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus.  The devil is under our feet.  We have the name of Jesus, the 2/3 of the innumerable angels, the Word of God, the anointing of The Holy Spirit, the blood of Christ, the sword of the Spirit, and the mighty Holy Ghost.  What are we waiting for?  

We are not supposed to be afraid of the world or our enemies.  They are to be afraid of us, as the enemies of old were of Israel.  We have the blessing of God upon our heads.  We are to occupy until He comes, and He is coming very soon.  The Bible says that it is “the violent that will take it by force”.  Let’s march in and take the land.  

God has equipped us with the anointing, the finances, the wisdom, the knowledge, the foresight, and the grace to get the job done.  The church has been asleep for too long.  We will have no excuse on that day, when we face Him.  Let’s wake up and become the church of The Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s act like it!   Let’s quit blaming the government, our location, our age, our looks, and our lack of talents. God has given unto us the talents and the ability to get the job done.  

We can no longer be lazy and full of excuses.  Our God is a big, big, big, big, big, God.  He’s the God of too much, more than enough, and calls Himself El-Shadai.  He is infinite, omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.  He is The Great I Am that I Am!  His feet shake the earth that He made with His spoken Word.  He made the mountains, the sea, the valleys, the sun, the moon, the stars and you and I.  He is beyond time.  He was with you when you left the house and is waiting for you when you arrive at your destination.  He has the keys of death, hell, and the grave.  When He sat down at the right hand of the Father, He seated you and I with Him.  He’s coming back, soon, on a white horse, and we will rule and reign with Him. Every Knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord.  He’s that one!!!!  At His name, the demons tremble and run in terror.  The same one that shook the prison that Paul ad Silas were in, shut the mouths of lions in the lion’s den, was with the Hebrew children in the fiery furnace, opened up the Red Sea for Israel and drowned Pharoah’s army in it, and came upon men and women to do mighty exploits, is the same one that called you and I into His service. He will use us to finish this job.
