As He Is, So Are We!
“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
We had a couple of powerful services Sunday. The presence of God has just been growing and growing over the last while. While Pastor Debbie was ministering in Iowa we had people from our church body ministering--Vincent Pinto in the morning and Bud and Dena Hastings in the evening. The gist of both services was that we need to remember who God is and who we are in Him, by comparison. One of the quotes that stuck out to me was when Vincent said, "If you've read through the whole Bible, there isn't an answer to a problem that you haven't read." That is a big reason to stay consistently in the Word or God!
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”
